February 24th at 5.30am an unprovoked war came to our land, came to our front doors.
Volleys of grenade launchers, the howling of air raid sirens, the panic and tears of our children paralysed our everyday consciousness.
Kharkiv is a city in Eastern Ukraine and the first to recognise the merciless blows rained down upon us.
We, along with 30 completely random people (3 families with 4 children), found salvation in the basement of the local fire station building where we became one family united by the hope for life.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to create a bridge of aid from Europe directly to Kharkiv, the farthest but most devastated area in the war on Ukraine.
We compile daily lists of essentials from doctors, volunteers and rescuers tirelessly working on the front line and transport these supplies from collection points for humanitarian aid in Vienna and other European cities using our own drivers, as well as dozens of volunteers in Kharkiv. This is the only way we can work quickly and efficiently to ensure everyday needs are met and target support to those who need it immediately.
We are not yet able to provide aid to the entire city of a million people but 6,000 Kharkiv residents are already receiving real help through the efforts of our team and network. With your help we can increase this amount!
We are raising funds for our three strategies of providing targeted FOOD, NON-VIOLENT EQUIPMENT & BASIC MEDICAL SUPPLIES.
